Resettlement

Resettlement

When disaster strikes in any community or country, it is a setback to progress. What is important is that the community or country rises up and heals from the disaster. We help people all around the world and make every effort to help them to overcome disastrous situations. Women Empowerment and Leadership team evacuated hundreds of Afghan families, especially women and children affected by war.

Women Empowerment and Leadership (WEL) takes pride in its long term commitment towards refugees resettlement process. We have actively participated in a number of programs.

WEL has also successfully facilitated evacuation of around 600 Afghan refugees to Australia through Australia’s emergency evacuation process under 449 emergency visas.

WEL is committed to continue its service for refugees to help them settle in Australia and become responsible members of the Australian society.

We have capacity to conduct a number of programs such as training programs, including legal training and domestic violence services.
