WEL’s Valentines Day

WEL’s Valentines Day

This year, 50 street children were WEL’s Valentine

As part of its support for the needy women and children in Afghanistan, Women Empowerment and Leadership (WEL) association celebrated Valentine’s Day by hosting 50 street children for lunch in a fancy hotel. Getting their families fed three times a day is a dream for most of these minor children, let alone going out for lunch. WEL has provided them with the opportunity.

While the children of their age across the world are enjoying their childhood, these children must labour every day to fight hunger and poverty.
Following the unprecedented events in Afghanistan, and the extremely hard winter, laboring for the daily meal has become more challenging. Therefore, it is timely for all the people and organizations who can assist, to step up and provide for the needy women and children in Afghanistan.
